The trial operation of VSR 200 MVAr in substation 400/220/110 kV Melina has begun at the construction site. Activities on the installation of a 100 MVAr variable shunt reactor are carried out according to the contract between the Croatian Transmission System Operator (HOPS) and Siemens, as part of the European smart grid project SINCRO.GRID.
