As part of the European smart grid project Sincro.Grid implementation, a contract "The installation of a 100 MVAr variable shunt reactor (VSR) in TS Mraclin" was signed in Zagreb between the Croatian Transmission System Operator (HOPS) and Siemens.

Croatian Transmission System Operator Ltd. (HOPS) and Končar - Power Plant and Electric Traction Engineering Inc. (KONČAR-KET) representatives have signed the contract "Process technical systems for the voltage and reactive power regulation support of the EES and dynamic monitoring of the transmission lines load within the SINCRO.GRID project".

On Thursday, 4 October, the first meeting of the Trans-European Networks for Energy (TEN-E) Thematic Group for Smart Grids took place in Brussels.

Between 27 and 28 September a meeting of the Executive Board of the SINCRO.GRID project took place in Split and in Substation Konjsko.

On Monday, August 20th, ELES and Siemens signed a contract for the supply and installation of a variable shunt reactor (VSR) of -150 Mvar, which will be installed at the Divača Substation.

Mag. Simon Tot from ELES presented the investment project SINCRO.GRID at the fifth Central and South-Eastern Europe Connectivity (CESEC) High Level Group Ministerial.

Mate Lasić from HOPS presented SINCRO.GRID project at Second SEERC Power Conference, organised by National Committee CIGRE of Ukraine.

In the first half of May, ELES presented the innovative SINCRO.GRID project at the ITOMS Consortium Conference in Kuala Lumpur.

On Wednesday, April 18th, a working meeting of the “TEN-E Regional Group for Gas and Electricity” was held in Brussels, where the PCI project experiences, which received funds from the Connecting Europe Facility, were presented.

Mag. Uroš Salobir presented ELES’ innovation projects at the “Alpine Power Links” conference in Basel.
