He presented the course of setting up the project, the process of application for the list of the projects of common European interest. During the debate he stressed that the project was selected for co-financing on the call for the Connecting Europe Facility fund because it is a smart grid investment project of European significance in the territory of Slovenia and Croatia, and that the consortium proved the project's compliance with the EU's smart grid policy.
The Energy Democracy Summit, which took place between 10 and 12 April, is the umbrella event of a multi-annual project. At the event, experts from the field of energy, industry representatives and policy makers discussed the most important challenges in the field of energy.
