Simon Tot, project manager of the SINCRO.GRID project, presented the background and explained the reasons that lead Slovenia and Croatia to prepare the project. Jernej Majcen, head of the compensation devices sub-project, presented the characteristics of compensation devices and the timetable of the planned activities.

Representatives of the Elektroinštitut Milan Vidmar presented an overview of environmental protection requirements and answered some additional questions related to noise emissions and electric and magnetic fields.
