The VSR 100 MVAr in SS 220/110 kV Mraclin went into initial operation at the construction site. The installation of a 100 MVAr variable shunt reactor is carried out according to the contract between the Croatian Transmission System Operator (HOPS) and Siemens, as part of the European smart grid project SINCRO.GRID.

PROJECT PARTNERS

The partners in the project were transmission and distribution system operator from Slovenia and Croatia (ELES, SODO, HOPS, HEP ODS).

Having demonstrated its conformity with EU policies in the field of smart grids, the project was selected in 2016 for co-financing under the Connecting Europe Facility call.
