The variable shunt reactor, which was brought from Siemens factory in Austria, was laid on the foundation at the Divača Substation on 22 November. Last week the contractors began with assembly works, which are expected to last until 12 December. They will then continue with the works to prepare the device for operation.
Tests of innovative weather stations for the installation at the electricity pylons are also actively underway. Last week the substructure for the weather station was field-tested on the Kleče-Divača transmission line.
