On 30 June 2020, the company ELES signed a contract "Supply and installation of STATCOM 400 kV compensation device in RTP Beričevo within the project Sincro.Grid - turnkey implementation" with a consortium of companies KOLEKTOR IGIN d.o.o. and KOLEKTOR CPG d.o.o. STATCOM equipment will be supplied by GE from Finnland.

Representatives of the contracting authority, consortium, and equipment supplier met on Tuesday, July 7, at an introductory meeting to agree on the process of project design approvals and on deadlines for the preparation and approval of a detailed implementation timeline.
