On Thursday, 8 September, a celebratory event was held at the ELES Technology Center in Beričevo at the end of the SINCRO.GRID project. During the project, partners integrated already established technologies into the Slovenian and Croatian electricity systems innovatively - compensation devices, battery energy storage systems and a dynamic thermal rating system for determining operating limits. In addition, a virtual cross-border control centre was established to control and regulate voltage in both systems. With this, they strengthened control over the network and enabled the integration of renewable resources.
