On Thursday, 23 November 2017, Ervin Planinc, M.Sc. (ELES) presented the SINCRO.GRID project and the planned installation of battery electricity storage units in the area of the Pekre substation to the Committee for Municipal and Economic Public Services, and then to the Municipal Council. Investors are also planning a public presentation of the project at the Local Community of Pekre, where construction works are foreseen.

The members of the Municipal Council received a promotional brochure of the SINCRO.GRID project.

Company ELES executed the fourth presentation of the project in Maribor, where RTP Pekre is stationed, and where SINCRO.GRID project related activities will take place.

PROJECT PARTNERS

The partners in the project were transmission and distribution system operator from Slovenia and Croatia (ELES, SODO, HOPS, HEP ODS).

Having demonstrated its conformity with EU policies in the field of smart grids, the project was selected in 2016 for co-financing under the Connecting Europe Facility call.
