The smart grid project, co-financed in the amount of EUR 40.5 million, is one of the 18 priority projects proposed by the European Commission in the field of priority energy infrastructural projects proposed to Member States for adoption. INEA conducted the procurement procedure by authorisation of the European Commission.
The representative of the project coordinator, ELES's CEO Aleksander Mervar signed the Grant Agreement with INEA's Director, Dirk Beckers. The SINCRO.GRID project, coordinated by ELES and incorporating HOPS, SODO and HEP ODS, is the first project in the field of smart grids to be co-financed under the CEF programme. Project proposal received the highest score in the call.
